'Proverbs of the Windrush Child' Extended

Delighted to see my series 'Proverbs of the Windrush Child' covered by The Evening Standard and Independent newspapers. Read here

The series is currently exhibited at The Black Cultural Archives in Brixton as part of its Windrush 75 celebrations. It's free and now extended to the 16th September, so you still have time to see it.

'Proverbs of the Windrush Child explored the stories of four people who spent their childhoods in the Caribbean before joining their parents in England as part of the Windrush Generation. Despite their individual stories, there were common threads such as the loss of nature and community, the shock of post-war Britain and the embrace of their new lives and families in this country.
